[3J08] Ion-irradiation Effect on Swelling and Microstructure of C/BN Particle Dispersed SiC

SiC/SiC composites are considered as attractive structural materials in fission and fusion energy systems, which makes it significant to explore their irradiation effect. C/BN Particle Dispersed LPS SiC which is a reference material for SiC composite matrix are irradiated to 0.1/1/3/10 dpa by 5.1MeV Si2+ ions at 800℃. Irradiated specimens were observed and analyzed by AFM, SEM, EDS and TEM. Swelling and micro structure data were obtained and compared with previous data in which irradiation temperature is 300 ℃.
