[2J_PL01] Relationship between Academia and Society
How should we proceed with disseminating information regarding the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant (1F) accident, which is an important mission of the AESJ. After an explanation of the purpose of this session by Prof. Niibori, the President of AESJ, a lecture on the relationship between the academia and the society is given from the perspective of the mass media. Then, we will report on the efforts and information dissemination on 1F decommissioning and environmental recovery, and will also introduce the activities of JAEA in Fukushima. Finally, a general discussion will be held among the speakers and deepen the discussion on how to disseminate information related to Fukushima.
