[43] An Approach to Changes in City from the View Point of Establishments after Great East Japan Earthquake
Targeting Iwaki City Fukushima Prefecture Where the Population Has Increased

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the changes in city where the population has increased by accepting evacuees due to Fukushima No.1 Nuclear Power Plant accident. In particular, it is to clarify changes of number of all and industries establishment in small area and district in the city. As the result of survey and analysis, firstly, total number of establishment that has decreased after 1991 changes to increase after the earthquake. And analyzing this change by industry, the establishment of construction and accommodation and restaurant and so on are changing from decrease tendency to increase. Furthermore, the small areas where the number of establishment are increasing remarkably, located along main road and be regulated by zoning of urban planning as residential area and so on. In particular, Taira small area and Onahama small area those are located to central urban area in Iwaki city have different results of increase and decrease. And number of establishments are increasing in suburb areas of the both areas. So it is necessary to guide urban functions and housing while building relationships with population changes.
