This study clarified the current situation of the self-managed development park based on the green space agreement of Kobe City from the spatial aspect and the owner's consciousness of maintenance and agreement responsibility. From the application drawing, it was clarified that the spatial characteristics were classified into three types, "entrance type", "separation type", and "back type", and that the site size and the roadway conditions had an influence on the type determination. It became clear that the management of "back-sided" self-managed parks is easily outsourced in a lump and the awareness of self-managed is reduced. In addition, it became clear that the awareness of the openness of the self-managed park to the area decreases when it becomes the "back type". It is necessary to realize a better development park plan through the design guidance with development consultations and maintenance support system.
