[82] Factors of Local Migration from the view of Regional Characteristics and Migration Support Policies

This study clarified the factors of domestic migration to local municipalities in Ehime Prefecture from the views of "Regional Characteristics(RC)" and "in-Migration Support Policies(MSP)" that might affect the migration demand. Based on Correlation and Regression analysis, the Migration Rate(MR) was affected by the RC such as low-birthrate and aging, accessibility of medical care and welfare support and sightseeing location. By using Quantification-type Ⅲ and Cluster analysis, High MR depends on the MSP which combine the advantage of its urbanity and rurality or which capitalize on the region’s uniqueness. As a conclusion, it is important to understand its own charms of each municipality and to take appropriate MSP to the selected targets.
