[99] A study on the summer outdoor temperature distribution in the urban central area of Hiroshima Delta
- Analysis of factors for forming temperature distribution and extraction of areas for promoting heat mitigation measures -
Keywords:Urban High Temperature, Movement Measurement, Temperature Distribution
Urban environmental design which implement heat mitigation measures is required in order to create a comfortable outdoor space especially in the central city area many people use. At first, it is necessary to identify hot spots from climatic analyses of the wide area. Then, it is required to extract priority areas in the hot spots for implementing mitigation measures. Therefore, this study aims at analyzing factors relating temperature distribution and extracting priority areas for promoting heat mitigation measures.
As a result, the temperature distribution in the central city area is affected by river distance, surrounding green space and building density. It is assumed that promoting greening at the same time as reducing building density is effective to mitigate heat in the priority area.
