[66] Analysis on the Changes in the Relationship between Flood and Landslide Risk, Housing Development, Housing Choice, and Net-Migration in the small cities
A Case Study of Nankoku City, Kami City, and Ino Town, Kochi Prefecture

It is essential to create a compact city considering natural disaster risks and the convenience of public transportation. This study aims to clarify the relationship between flood and landslide risk, housing development, housing choice, and Net-Migration. Three cities: Nankoku city, Kami city, and Ino town, Kochi prefecture, are selected as the case study area in this study. The centers of all the cities are close to the regional core city: Kochi city, well public transportation system, but the level of the above disaster risk in each city is different. Results showed that housing developments and net-migrations are more significant in the city with low disaster risk. Also, residents tend to choose their housing please considering disaster risks more than before.
