[20] Relationship Between Excursion Behavior and SNS Use in Central Area
Considering Personal Attributes and Accompanying Circumstances

In recent years, social networking services (SNS) have become remarkably popular, and SNS are used by people of all ages. One of the characteristics of SNS is the high effectiveness of word of mouth, and the influence of word of mouth has a significant impact on people's behavior. Companies are also promoting marketing through SNS, and SNS has a significant impact on people's consumption and thus excursion behavior. Therefore, this study has examined the relationship between excursion behavior and SNS use in the central city area, considering personal attributes and accompanying circumstances. The results show that the use of SNS, especially the dissemination of information, changes the visit from a wandering visit with no destination in mind to a purposeful visit with a destination in mind. They also show that people tend to spend more time and money there.
