[72] Factors Affecting the Purchase of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) of the BEV Purchasers

In this research, we conducted an online questionnaire survey targeting BEV purchasers and tried to extract BEV purchase factors from SP choice experiments. As a result, there was a significant difference in recognition between BEV purchasers and non-BEV purchasers in terms of better acceleration, lower electricity costs than gasoline costs in the Kanto region and cold regions, and low energy consumption in cold regions. This suggests the possibility that changing the perceptions of non-BEV purchasers can promote BEV purchases for each item. From the SP choice experiment, lower electricity bills and higher interest in technology are significant for all sample models, and BEV purchaser, and non-BEV purchaser models. It was shown that it is a common recognition regardless of purchase.
