グルタミン酸は脳で非常に重要な神経伝達物質であることは周知のことである。その神経伝達機能の結果として、依存の発生、不安の惹起、認知記憶機能への貢献がなされ、生体が成り立っている。本シンポジウムでは、グルタミン酸または、その受容体やトランスポーターの障害が元でおこる依存形成や記憶認知障害に対する性差について、議論をする予定である。また、不安制御の新規メカニズムについても迫りたいと考えている。
