The Power Energy Professional training program, or PEP, is an integrated 5-year doctoral development program based on the world-class education and research standards through cooperation with 13 universities with the purpose of producing intelligent professionals in an era in which power and energy infrastructure and systems, which are the foundation of human activities, are experiencing dramatic changes.

 
 

Amid the international interest in the realization of a sustainable society, the electricity/energy field is one of the principal axes of the upcoming super smart society; thus, the fostering of human resources who can lead the world in this fifield is an urgent issue. In this program, we have realized a coalition of thirteen national, public, and private universities, an educational environment previously unheard of. We also work closely with overseas universities, business enterprises and research institutions and have created an environment that enables both industry and academia to make full-scale efforts.
