This lunch session speech is intended to provide for an open forum to introduce, inform, and educate the audience on in-use safety concepts as they relate to the future of vehicle safety considerations. We look forward to hearing research and expert thoughts on topics such as: what technologies and policies should be considered for evaluation; what processes are appropriate for such evaluations; and for those found to be effective, what means could be used to encourage their deployment to support global safety initiatives.
