The objective of the panel discussion is to review in which aspects the current reanalyses meet and/or fall short of users’ needs based on wrap-up session reports by rapporteurs and short presentations by the panelists, and to discuss priorities that should be addressed regarding the production of future reanalyses and their usage environment under prospective technological advancements for the coming decade.
