We have developed a new PVT hybrid panel whereby the visible light of solar spectrum is converted into electricity by photoelectric effect of semiconductors, and infrared light is absorbed in the EPDM rubber and changed into far infrared by wavelength conversion. The far infrared passes through polyethylene resin pipe causing water molecules to vibrate, which in turn generates hot water.
