Originally, the rubber industry in Fukuoka started with the success of manufacturing shoes and tire. Nowadays, there are many manufactures producing critical rubber parts for automobiles, and so forth. This exhibition shows the outline of companies and their technologies, as well as both several joint R&D achievements and educational system for engineers supported by official R&D institutions.
