[R1P-01] X-shaped Esterel twin of quartz crystals from Obira mine,Oita Prefecture,Japan.

X-shaped and Y-shaped Esterel twins are new found in Obira mine Oita in Japan. It was observed that the ridge line of the m-planes facing each other were not parallel but slightly deviated from each other.
It is considered that the symmetry of the twins slightly deviates with the growth and appears in the crystal outline ,because the crystal from the Obira mine universally contains the "sakura texture".
