[R2-01] CL analysis for the gravitational influence on crystal habit of quartz.

Internal growth texture of quartz was observed to clarify growth history and the gravitational influence on crystal habit, by using cathode luminescence (CL) method. Examined samples were collected from Tamayama mine, Iwate Prefecture and Itaya, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. The result suggests that gravity has strong influence on crystal habit at the first growth stage.
