[R3P-06] Phase transition of ScOOH under high pressure

Quench experiments and in-situ X-ray diffraction measurements of ScOOH have been carried out up to 14GPa to determine phase boundaries. The aim of this study was to investigate the pressure induced phase transition of an oxyhydroxide with the InOOH-type structure. Our experimental results showed that the transition from α-ScOOH to InOOH-type ScOOH occurs at around 5 GPa, and the transition from InOOH-type ScOOH to YbOOH-type ScOOH occurs at around 10 GPa.
