Keywords:FeH2, Sound velocity, Mossbauer spectroscopy, High pressure

The physical properties of these high-pressure phases of Fe-H are important as the constituent of the Earth’s core and giant planets that are composed mainly of hydrogen. However, the physical properties of these high-pressure phases of Fe-H compounds have not been measured yet. In this study, we report the sound velocity and magnetic property of FeH2 that measured by inelastic x-ray scattering and Mossbauer spectroscopy, respectively.
