Keywords:Hime-shima volcanic group, Futagoyama volcanic group, magma genesis
Futagoyama is located in Kunisaki peninsula, and Hime-Shima island is located in north offshore of the peninsula. Futagoyama volcanic group is composed of andesite and dacite (Matsumoto and Narishige, 1985). Hime-shima volcanic group is composed of dacite and rhyolite (Itoh, 1990). We report the geochemistry and petrography of them.
Dacitic magmas from Futagoyama is formed with magma mixing between adakitic and Island Arc magmas. The magmas from Hime-shima is formed with magma mixing between adakitic and rhyolitic magmas.
