The granitoids of the Ryoke Belt in Yashiro-jima island are made up of the Towa Granite (Ryoke younger granite) and Gamano Granodiorite (Ryoke older granite). Both the Towa Granite and Gamano Granodiorite have the geochemical character similar to Volcanic Arc Granite. In addition, their Sr-Nd isotopic compositions resemble each other; thereby suggesting that the granitoids from Yashiro-jima island are originally derived from the similar source materials.
