The pluton such as granite and diorite is said to be the fossil of magma reservoir, and the state of magma reservoir, behavior of magma and activity record to the solidification are preserved. The Shaku-dake diorite has a high-Mg andesite composition. In addition, surges and schlierens are observed in the Shaku-dake diorite, and the intruding boundary may involve the Wakino sub-group and limestones as xenoliths. In this study, the internal structure of the Shaku-dake body was examined from the height and level change using the modal and whole-rock chemical composition as parameters.
