Keywords:Maana belt, Zircon U-Pb age, Kurosegawa tectonic zone, Chichibu composite terrane

To clarify the emplacement mechanism of Maana belt, we measured the zircon U-Pb age for some rocks surrounding the Maana belt. Two granitoid in the south of Maana belt, show the age of 470.6 ± 3.2 Ma and 468.3 ± 2.7 Ma, respectively. This age is consistent with the Early Paleozoic rocks in Kurosegawa tectonic zone. The clastic rocks in the serpentinite show the estimated deposition age of Early Permian. The granitic rock, north of Maana belt show the age of 151.8 ± 1.8 Ma. 110-158 Ma is known as a magmatic hiatus around the Japanese island, so the granitic rock may be emplaced as a exsotic blocks.
