[48] ESTIMATION METHOD FOR CENTER SHIFT DISPLACEMENTS OF FLUCTUATIONOF ISOLATION LAYER OF ISOLATED HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS
Keywords:Base-isolated high-rise building, Rain-flow method, Center shift displacements of fluctuation
Vibration characteristics of solar panels which are supported by cables, called solar wing, were investigated through wind tunnel tests using 1/13.3-scaled model. The characteristics of the fluctuating components were very dependent on wind direction and sag ratio. For the smaller sag ratio, the fluctuating components increased moderately to the square of the mean wind speed for the wind directions between 0° and 30°, and a divergent vibration was found at large mean wind speeds for the wind directions larger than 40°. When the wind directions are larger than 60°, limited vibrations at the low mean wind speed and divergent vibration at high mean wind speed were observed.
