[MO-4] Critical finger ischemia rescued by distal digital artery balloon dilatation
This 57 year old female with histoy of HTN was admitted due to acute onset of left middle finger cyanosis since last night. CT scan revealed stenosis of left ulnar artery and more distal branches couldn't be identified clearly.
Angiography from left brachial artery showed diffuse stenosis of left ulnar artery with slow flow despite NTG injection. We introduced 4Fr sheath and PT2 wire could enter digit artery tip after repetittive attempts. Admiral 2.0x4 was inflated for ulnar lesions. Poor distal run off persisted despite NTG. we then used Admiral 1.5x20 balloon inflation in very distal digital artery. Good distal blood flow was restored.
