[MP-17] One-Year Outcomes after Viabahn Stent Grafts for Patients with Peripheral Artery Diseaes Presenting Femoropopliteal Artery Lesions

Takuya Tsujimura (Kansai Rosai Hospital Cardiovascular Center)

Purpose: We investigated 1-year outcomes after ViabahnTM stent graft implantaion for patients with peripheral artery disease (PAD) presenting the femoropopliteal (FP) arterial lesions in real-world setting. Methods: This study was single center, retrospective and observational study. From June 2012 to November 2017, 90 consecutive patients with PAD (75 ± 9 years; male, 80%; diabetes mellitus, 60%; dialysis, 27%, critical limb ischemia, 26%) who had undergone endovascular therapy (EVT) using ViabahnTM stent grafts for 103 FP artery diseases (chronic total occlusion, 53%; TASC II C/D, 90%) were analyzed. Outcome measures included 1-year primary patency, freedom from target-lesion revascularization (TLR) and freedom form major adverse limb events (MALE) after EVT, evaluating by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Additionally, predictors of restenosis were estimated by Cox proportional hazard model. Results: The mean follow-up duration was 11 ± 2 months. 1-year primary patency, freedom from TLR and MALE rate were 90%, 90% and 90%, respectively. After univariate analysis, presence of chronic kidney disease and smaller stent diameter were associated with loss of patency. Conclusion: 1-year outcomes after ViabahnTM stent graft implantaion demonstrated durable in patients with PAD presenting the FP arterial lesions in real-world setting.
