Geo Consultant as a friend with Soils

GRI was established in 1960 and has been trying to serve you as geotechnical consultant based upon study of characteristics of soils of various regions in Osaka and World.

Researcher and Engineers as friends of soils
We hear frequently "constructed tunnel fighting against ground." However, we try to treat soils and ground as friend not as enemy. As friends, our engineers and scientists in GRI would like to help the relationship between you and soils in geotechnical, geological, geophysical, and geo-environmental problems.

Based upon Active Exchange between Fields and Research lab.
Soils have different faces at different area. Truth exists not in our brain but in situ. We try to visit the site and observe the behavior of soils and ground by ourselves. We try to be a bridge between the field and the research groups of various organization. We try to provide the most appropriate solutions to you in various problems in geotechnical constructions with safer as well as feasible approach.

Forwards to establish the United Geo-Science for Regional Society
GRI had paid attention to collect various such ground information data as boring data, underground water, as well as seismic records in Kansai area including Osaka region. The ground, where people lives upon, consists from various soils of soft soils that causes ground settlements, loose sand that results in liquefaction, and active faults that triggers earthquakes as well as underground water as the natural resource and an index of natural environments. Deep study in geomorphology, geology, seismology, as well as geotechnical knowledge in Osaka region are provided to support the disaster prevention, the regional development, as well as the maintenance system that are based upon regional geo-information for the safety of our society.
