Pt(111)単結晶基板上にCoを数原子層蒸着させ、熱処理を施してPt-Co/Pt(111)の強磁性体表面を超高真空中で作製し、最表面で発現する垂直磁気異方性(PMA)と酸素還元反応特性との関係を検討した。
