アルカリ金属塩を還元拡散反応系中に加え、アルカリ金属溶融塩をいわばCaの溶媒として用いることで、Ca融点以下での還元拡散反応の開発を試みるとともに、TbCu₇型Sm-Fe合金微粉末の合成を検討した。
