[348] Low cost duplex Ti alloys with excellent tensile strength and tailored microstructure

In this study, we produced a low-cost Ti–4Fe–0.5O–3Cu–0.4Si alloy with fine equiaxed microstructure and tensile strength (~1060 MPa) considerably higher than the conventional Ti–6Al–4V alloy.
