熱処理によって常磁性Mn-rich相とフェリ磁性Mn-Poor相に相分離する(Co, Mn, Fe)₃O₄の磁気構造を電子線ホログラフィーで観察し，結晶学的微細構造が誘発する形状磁気異方性の発現を実証した.
