熱電材料Mg₂(Si, Sn)の長時間使用を想定した安定性を考慮するために、Mg₂Si-Mg₂Sn擬二元系状態図の再検討及び第4元素であるAlとAgの添加が凝固組織の形成過程と相平衡に及ぼす影響を理解することを目的とした。
