核融合炉と銅-塩素サイクルを組み合わせた水素製造プラントの設計を行った。CuCl₂水溶液の濃縮に要する熱量が投入エネルギーを支配するため、高濃度のCuCl水溶液で運転可能な電解槽の開発が有効であると分かった。
