My main research area has been the management of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer using intravesical DNA recombinant BCG by escaping innate immunity of bladder. And I mastered the technique such as bladder cacner on a chip mimic bladder cancer microenviroment using microfluidic flow and the orthotropic non-muscle invasive bladder cancer model using bioluminescence imaiging to new drug screening.
I have several granted funds from the Basic Science Research Program through the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and I am interested in mcirobiom in urologic fields nowadays.
