[P-EM31_1PM1] Plasma Astrophysics: atomic/molecular process, dusty plasma, weak ionization, plasma application

Thu. May 1, 2014 2:15 PM - 4:00 PM 503 (5F)

Convener:*Shuichi Matsukiyo(Department of Earth System Science and Technology, Kyushu University), Shu-ichiro Inutsuka(Department of Physics, Nagoya University), Chair:Yasuhiro Nariyuki(Faculty of Human Development, University of Toyama)

A plasma seen in a star's/planetary atmosphere, molecular clouds, and a laboratory is often not fully ionized and contains neutral gases and dusts. Studying the complex behaviors of such media contributes not only to understand the physics of a multi-layer coupling in space but also to plasma applications. Here, diverse plasma phenomena in such circumstances are discussed. This session is a part of 'plasma astrophysics joint session of the three academic societies'.
