MHD phenomena are characterized by large temporal and spatial scales in a plasma. In this session the phenomena widely related with MHD including, for instance, multi-scale physics in a magnetic reconnection, structure formation in a plasma are discussed. This session is a part of 'plasma astrophysics joint session of the three academic societies'.
