We aimed to examine on the classification and ecological index of the small ponds based on the stability of stratification. The seasonal variation of the stratification was examined using the monitoring data of water temperature in multiple depths in the 4 different ponds located on an island which is highly influenced by agricultural activity. DO, fluorescence, nutrients data were used for the evaluation of ecosystem condition.*This research is supported by the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A) (No. 25241028, Shin-ichi Onodera).
