Global Map is fundamental geospatial information datasets composed ofeight kinds (Population Centre, Drainage, Transportation, Boundaries,Land Use, Land Cover, Vegetation, Elevation) of thematic informationbased on consistent specifications. It is developed under international cooperation of respective National Geospatial Infomation Authority (NGIA) around the world. Global Map version 2 (Global Version, Land Cover and Vegetation) was published in July, 2013. Analyzing Global Map with other geospatial information gives good understanding of the relationship between human activities and environmental conditions including forest distribution and land cover conditions. This poster shows our recent achievements in developing new portrayal for Global Map and tiles for WTMS.
