【概要】
　火山噴煙に発生する雷である「火山雷」については先行研究が少なく，火山雷現象の詳細や発生メカニズムが明らかにされていない。そこで，我々錦江湾高校天文物理部では桜島の昭和火口において頻繁に発生する火山雷を，光学・電磁波・音波観測装置を構築して現象の特徴を明らかにするとともに，発生メカニズムの解明を目指している。今回は今までの観測で得られた火山雷現象の特徴と発生モデルを発表する。
