This is a report on UniBio Press activities toward the founding of a scholarly publishing consortium as suggested by the Science Council of Japan Special Committee on Scholarly Publishing in August of 2012. UniBio Press has, in collaboration with 8 other academic societies, adopted Strengthening International Dissemination of Information (A), and has spent this last year actively pursuing the creation of arenas for information sharing among, not only the participant academic societies, but for the whole of academic societies across Japan.
