Employment of fixed-term researcher has been diversified. However, young researchers are still facing severe situation. For this reason, students do not want to go to the doctoral program, and thus, prospective postgraduate students have been declining in the near future. The JpGU Career Support Committee and the JpGU Gender Equality Committee co-organize this session in order to consider problems of fixed-term researcher system and better careers for young scientists.
