[P-EM28] Dynamics in magnetosphere and ionosphere

Wed. May 27, 2015 5:15 PM - 6:00 PM 302 (3F)

Convener:*Yoshizumi Miyoshi(Solar-Terrestrial Environement Laboratory, Nagoya University), Hiroshi Hasegawa(Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), Shin'ya Nakano(The Institute of Statistical Mathematics), Yoshimasa Tanaka(National Institute of Polar Research), Tomoaki Hori(Nagoya University Solar Terrestrial Environment Laboratory Geospace Research Center), Chair:Yuki Obana(Department of Engineering Science, Faculty of Engineering, Osaka Electro-Communication University)

This session provides an opportunity to present recent results from satellite and ground-based observations and theoretical and simulation studies on the magneotphere, ionosphere, and their coupling including the aurora phenomena, the magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling and magnetic storms/substorms. Discussions on planetary and satellite ionosphere and magnetospheres, future missions and instrument developments are also welcome.
