[BPT26-06] Genetic variation of gene expression pattern among echinoderm populations.

We compared the gene expression patterns among local populations of Peronella japonica, a species of Japanese sand dollar. We detected siginificant variation for several genes among populations. I discuss the impact of these findings on the evolutionary history of metazoans.
