[ACG38-01] International/Domestic Trend on Promotion of Arctic Research

The Arctic research and their promotion is increasing much in the recent years. New movement on promotion and coordination activities are arising, and will certainly affect the conditions of the research community. At National Institute of Polar Research, monitoring of these movement and also response have been made to these when necessary. In this presentation some of the main international promotion activities such as ASM Arctic Science Ministrial, SAON Sustaining Arctic Observing Network, AOF Arctic Observation Framework and evaluation activities of AC Arctic Council, and dialogue between government and research institute will be explained. Furthermore, if time is enough, such program as H2020 of European Union and SIOS Svalvard Integrated Observation System will be explained.
