We, Geological Society of Japan, newly made a digital teaching material of geology and geography of Japan for junior high school and elementary school students as well as their teachers, financially supported by the Dream Fund for youth education (Kodomo-Umekikin) from National Institution For Youth Education of Japan. One of the most important purposes of the materials encourages the students to learn geography and geology through field study and experiments by themselves. The digital material includes many photos of geographic and geological important, and beautiful landscapes. And, the landscapes are described by both texts and movies. In addition, it also contains some movies of experiments to understand volcanism and geography.



The digital teaching material can be downloaded free of charge by anybody from a website below.
