[O06-P22] Geopark Study Classes at a Junior High School through a Year in Dinosaur Valley Fukui Katsuyama Geopark: First Attempt at Katsuyama Nanbu Junior High School

Educational activity at geoparks have many meanings: encouraging understanding of the area and geoparks, fostering the people who leads the next generation of the area and also the world, giving a chance to study geology and so on.
There are 12 schools (9 elementary schools + 3 junior high schools) in Dinosaur Valley Fukui Katsuyama Geopark. These schools are member of UNESCO Asocciated Schools, base for ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) promotion. We gave lectures every year for years, but most of them were just a class in a year. We had a chance to conduct lectures at Katsuyama Nanbu Junior High School through last year (17 classes). We will report the challenges and prospects through the classes.
