Global Land Programme (GLP) is a partner programme of Future Earth (FE) and has an important mission of enhancing land science in order to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as Future Earth (FE), and ultimately to the regional and global sustainability. The present presentation introduces this session, which is intended to demonstrate recent achievements and plans of the studies related with GLP, to exchange information and views about them, and to seek possible interdisciplinary joint research projects that can truly serve regional and global sustainability, and intends to make proposal of projects.
