It has a great influence on the human body to be exposed to zero gravity for a long term in space. For example, human was to increase of body fat and to decrease of body, in a short time. The space foods are important life-support systems in space stay. It is necessary to take in protein by a meal, and to maintain muscle. In this study, elderly person ate caloric tofu every day during, one week and they could reinforce muscle. The caloric tofu includes a middle chain fatty acid. As a characteristic, the caloric tofu is easy to become the energy, and is hard to become the fat. From the above-mentioned result, we think the calorie tofu to be available as space foods.
