[MZZ40-02] The Histories of the Climate Change Studies in Japan (2)

*Jiro Tomari1 (1.Atmospheric and Oceanic Research Institute, University of Tokyo )

Keywords:climate change, global warming, glpbal cooling

In the last meeting, I contended that regular studies for global warming caused by greenhouse gass started in the early 1980’s in Japan.

In this meeting, I will talk about the reason why global cooling hypothesis had lost the influence and global warming had made a predominant hypothesis among atmospheric scientists in the early 1980’s.
