[O02-P31] Analysis of metal ion concentration in the rivers of Yosemite Valley and comparison with Japanese rivers
At our school, we had overseas training in the United States on an SSH field study from 2011. One of the training places was Yosemite National Park. We gathered water in several places from rivers around the Merced River, which flow into it and analyzed the concentration of underwater metal ions. We cooperated with Shinshu University, Faculty of Engineering, and Mechanical Systems Engineering. We examined the connection between the length of rivers and the concentration of underwater metal ions and compared the metal ions that are included in Japanese rivers and Yosemite National Park’s.
